Hey guys, so 3 days ago i took a 5 hours trip on my car going ~70mph the entire way. Once i stop for gas, it began to overheat. The thermostat was changed yesterday, and it is still overheating!! What could it be, a new radiator, does it have to be bled? After a few hours i check to see if its leaked, but it does not.

More details, model, manual or auto, which engine, coolant used, prediluted or self diluted, etc?

You always have to bleed/burp the coolant after replacing a thermostat.

Does the car overheat when sitting at idle, when driving down the road, or both?

It's a 99 civic dx y7 auto. It was fixed. Buying the car from up north with all the salt in the roads caused the radiator to rust and clog. Got a new radiator and I've driven about 400 miles since and it's been working fine!
