Default 99 00 si usdm si ecu

so im trying to pass ref and i need a the stock usdm ecu for it. I have a p2t ecu but its half the size of the other ones(usdm)... its the same size as jdm ecus. all the ones ive seen for sale are the same one(jdm). my question is "are all the p2ts the same length would the ref be able to tell if im running the jdm version?

they should all be the same. but i can be wrong. and yes the ref would know since they connect to your ECU from underneath the driver side ecu connector. the one that they use to run diagnostics.

if your running a motor that was imported from japan that p2t ecu wont even start the car nor will u pass inspection. p2t's look for crank sensor, oil pressure switch and 2nd o2.

It'll start, and run (poorly), its not hard to get around those issues though:

- Perform CKF fix --> http://technet.ff-squad.com/ckftrick.htm
or use a USDM oil pump with the CKF sensor.

- Use a USDM Vtec solenoid that has the pressure switch (or a JDM OBD1 version, they also have the pressure switch) or tap the vtec pressure switch signal wire into the vtec signal wire to fool the ECU into thinking you have a vtec pressure switch

- Wire in the second O2 sensor.

I got my swap in, a 00 usdm si into a 98 civic, and its running off a p28. Everything is there and wired up correctly. All i need to do is get the car running on the correct ecu to show up for inspection. Since the ref is plugging into the car from the drivers side will it tell him is im running the a-b jumper?
