99-00 Si, squeaks, rattles, clunks, and TSBs
i also posted this in ClubSi (which is going down the tubes fast, IMO. dan being ousted was the last straw. but i did see it coming, the downfall of CSi, not dan being expelled from the garden of good and evil.). anyway, who has some of the TSB's done to have their Si (either by themself or by the dealer), specifically referring to:
1) the rear quarter glass where you cut the four ribs off the window liner (squeaking from rear window)
2) the rear shelf where you remove the foam and put on another foam piece (squeaking from rear shelf)
3) moonroof squeak-reduction tape (squeak from moonroof liner when shade is open but moonroof closed)
4) the "seatbelt relocation mount??" I haven't actually found the TSB but others have said that there exists a seatbelt relocation TSB.
BTW, anybody see the new GRM with the 2002 Si?

well, i did the rear shelf TSB. went to the dealer and they gave me the foam tape. the shelf is easy, the pain in the *** is the side trim that the shelf has to clear, and putting the shelf back on and getting all the little white connectors to line up and snap. i got 5 out of 6 and the last one is just loose rattling with the speaker and i'm too frustrated to take it apart again. i figure it will eventually work its way down and fall out... it did get rid of SOME squeak, but there is still some. i say about 1/2 my squeaks are gone. most of the minor ones are gone, just big ones where the car is twisted in longitudinal plane. in retrospect i probably would not do it again. tape for moonroof is expensive, so i won't do that. don't plan on doing the window one either.

the tape from honda is expensive. you can go to your local harware store get some thick wheather stripping. i think it works better. my rattles coming from the rear really bothers me. i did took off the rear shelf to see what rattling. couldn't locate it though.
