of course
but you need a 99+ harness end - http://cgi.ebay.com/Reverse-Ac...wItem
(This is cheap - I have the same one in my beater ed6)
You will be cutting your factory harness end off, or removing all the pins, rewiring to a 99+ end

Or you could not be ghetto and buy the harness for your car, and wire that to the reverse harness...
That way, it'll be plug & play and you won't have to worry about splicing wires in the radio cavity...

thats what i figured, by both harness and wire them together. so on one side it will plug into the new radio and on the other side it will plug into the original harness.

You are correct, sir.
Wire the 2 harnesses together, matching color to color.

You never said "repin". You said cut the plug off. That is ghetto.

................ 99+ Honda Reverse Harness ................ + ................ Pre-99 Honda Radio Harness ................
Both can be purchased from autoware302 on eBay for little less than $14 shipped (for both!). Click on the above links to the auctions.
I soldered to two harnesses together and had it plug and play.

This is what I did in my '98 EX. I have the '99-'00 Si deck in it and the harness is very short. It is long enough to plug in with no problems but does not have a lot of extra long wires in there.
Here is a photo of my Si deck shortly after my car was recovered.
