99/00 SI 1/4 mile times
My brother owns a 99 SI and was wondering what everybody here runs (or ran when they were stock).
The only mods he has are: AEM CAI, OBX exhaust, removed resonator, skunk2 coilovers, and a short shifter.
His best time is a 15.7 @ 87 with a 2.4 60'.
Hope to hear from some of you fellow SI owners! Thanks for your help!

reaction doesnt matter 1/4 mile time-wise. what's his worst run? i would think he should be running better than a 15.7...

Yeah that's what we both thought... we found on some site that he's supposed to be running 15.5's, but we can't find that site again. He just wanted to hear what other SI owners are running.
His worst time is a 16.1.

When he got his best time he launched at 3500. He looses traction when he takes it higher... oh, and he wont let me run his car either, hehe.

when i had my si i only ran it when i first got it...only mods at the time were aem intake and 5 zigen exhaust. i ran a 15.2@89mph oh i was on 18" racing harts which would explain the 2.4 60'. car was stolen and i never got to put my rev hard stage 2 turbo on

I always *hear* of 99/00 Si's running low 15's, but i've never seen it first hand. they're usually doing a 15.5-16 flat around my area on street tires. I've seen lightly modded EX's get the exact same ET's...only difference is EX's usually have slower trap speeds.

When I had my Si I took it to the track twice. Here are the mods/best times I ran:
Bone stock (suspension, tires, etc) = 15.8 @86mph
AEM CAI, Apex-i 4-2-1 header (still stock suspension, tires, etc) = 15.3 @89mph
Both trips to the track I was very consistant with my runs.
I mostly see them running around high 15's~mid 16's. If you know how to drive it, it's really not all that difficult

i have a 94 coupe with a b16 (essientally an si)
im running a high 15 (intake header and STOCK exhaust. its killing me)

That sounds like a decent time. Tell him to get rid of that OBX exhaust/muffler. Is he using the stock SHITLIN tires? With a good catback, JDM 4-1 header with high flow cat and AEM CAI he can lower those times. I've heard of a guy with I/H/E run a 14.67 with his 2000 SI.

when i ran my **** stock i got 15.68 and that's with a 2.3 r/t with shitty *** michelin tires on the si rims from honda
now i have 15' rota SS with toyo proxes and TRM exhaust system
nowadays i'm running about 15.2-15.3s all day..
and next month imma be getting eibach sportlines with agx shocks...

I don't have a new SI but the best I've seen in person was running 15.5 consistently with AEM and and ACT clutch setup.
