I brought some 99-00 Honda Civic OEM Honda foglights for my 96 Civic hatchback. It came with directions and is pretty straight forward. The only problem I have is that I cannot find the connector with the blue tape under the dash for the brown 1 pin on the harness to go into. There is 2 wires a red and purple that are cut hanging there where I think the plug is suppose to be. Did the last owner cut it off?. Is that the connector where is the brown 1 pin is suppose to go to? Where could I plug the male brown connector on the harness to? Please let me know. Thanks!

Do you have a 99-00 bumper? Don't these lights only work in the 99-00 bumpers? I thought the 96-98 were square fogs?

Yeah I just did a 99 front on my 96 recently.

I got this already. But my problem is that I cannot locate the plug with the blue tape. This is where the brown one pin is going into from the harness. This is all I need to get the fog working. What color wire is the plug with blue tape suppose to be? There are 2 wires that are red and purple that are cut off. IS this where the plug is suppose to be?
