99-00 Master Controller....what size?
RSZero1 has an interesting idea that I am diggin into.
The 96-00 Civics all have the same part number for the Brake Booster....even the 99-00 SI.
Therfore, you can bolt a SI M/C right onto your exisiting booster. The biggest question is are the lines still the same even though your going from a 2 disk to a 4 disk.....

Damn, just checked....the 99-00 SI Master Cylinder is the same part number as the 96-00 EX.

Re: 99-00 Master Controller....what size? (fowler)
the si m/c is 7/8", all others are 11/16 or 13/16"
I have one on my 98 dx hatch.
I also did the front/rear disc conversion from the 2000 si as well. Generally the proportioning valve takes care of regulating the pressure to what type of setup you have, disc/disc or disc/drum.
The 96-00 civics all have the same part number for the proportioning valve, so I didnt bother changing mine. My brakes work great, hanvt noticed a front/rear bias in braking peroformance.
I am not sure if this answers your question. or even if it helps, but I though you might want to hear from someone who did it first hand.

i just want to do it as simple as possible, because changing the booster seems like a royal PITA.
