i just bought a set of OEM Raybrig Fog Lights for my 98 hatch (00 front end converted) i have the instruction manual but my question is since the fogs are for the 99-00 is the wiring the same or is there any different step along the way?? i should receive them in a couple of days and i don't want any suprises during the install

The interior fog light wiring harness is different from '96-'98 to '99-'00, but either kit will work on either group of years.

I was gonna say it shouldn't really matter. They still should wire up the same.

Well, the new '96-'98 interior fog light harness is the same as the '99-'00 one. The original ones are different.

That might be why you're getting some different answers.
