Hey guys my boy and I have been goin back and foward about the transmission in the USDM 99-00 civic Si which we both happen to drive however, He says it came from the factory with an LSD already installed and I say that the JDM B16B was the one produced that had the factory installed LSD but he swears the USDM had LSD. Please tell me im not going crazy I have done so much searching and I haven't found anything saying that the USDM had LSD I know you can purchase it seperatly and have it installed but for as long as I have known the USDM does not have LSD. So im leaving it up to you guys don't leave me hangin

USDM had an LSD, so did the USDM B18B1, but you can't find anything on the internet about it.

Yeah, there just isn't any paperwork to support it, because they only crash tested the EM1 in the US without an LSD, so instead of re-testing with the LSD, they just never declared it as an actual part on the 99-00 Civic Si.

@saywhat i've gotta find this information out somewhere i've googled everything to the point that I damn near shut google down lol and everything I've seen says that it does not have LSD so if you have a link or something please lemme know

B16A2 USDM - NO LSD
B16A JDM - LSD (from a 92-95 Civic SIR)
B16B - LSD (from a 96-00 CTR)

No USDM Civic came with LSD until the 06 Civic SI

No it's not. All B16 has LSD. All USDM and JDM. The Type R doesn't though, sadly.

man someone should have just told him the answer along time ago jeez!!!!! no it has no freakin lsd, only usdm dc2 type r and fd's other than that if your car has and lsd it was an aftermarket addition, im not the guru i just take em' apart and put em' back together

To the OP, no they didnt come with LSD's. No US B16's had LSD's. The first and second generation JDM B16A's had optional LSD's, but the B16B is the only one that ever came standard with one. No Civic in the US has come standard with an LSD until the FA5/FG2.
