Default 99-00 ek front end conversion question

i have used the search so please try and help. i could not find a real answer.
i know in order for me to do the front end conversion, i know that i need the 99-00 front bumper, grill, headlights, hood, and fenders.

my question is do you really need the radiator support? i have read that some people say that you do need it and some people said that they dont need it.

can someone who has actually done this swap tell me if you do need it? i got into a lil fender bender and my front bumper is a lil messed up that is why i am considering this conversion. please help.

it was done on my 97 hatch, and it was recommended that the radiator support was changed for safety reasons.

but no, its not a necessity, just works out easier, and turns out cleaner when you do have it

No, you do not need the core-support. You will ,however, have to notch the 2 flanges that sit just inside the headlights placement. This is easily done with a die-grinder or jigsaw or even by hand. The rest is all bolt-on.

What safety are you talking about? All you do is shave a little of the back of the 99 bumper and you are set.
