99-00 doors to 96-98
I got a question i thought you guys would be able to help me out with.
I have a 97 Hatch and I was thinking about replacing my doors(because of some dents) and also I want the power windows.
My friend has some 99 2dr EX doors for sale and I wanted to put them on my car.
I've seen some diagrams with adding power windows to my stock DX doors but If I were to just swap doors I have some questions.
First off,
1. Would they even fit?
2. I saw the wiring diagrams already and do I have to do all the same wiring and transfer the under floor harness from the EX too?
and last
3. If the doors were to fit. WOuld it be hard to get the doors realigned to the car again?
Thnks in advance people.

Re: (bsixteen)
would they fit?
yes the doors fit you are able to transfer the power window accessories into your dx doors...
floor harness?
no you dont need the floor harness. for the power windows to work. but if you decide to use a floor harness you need a 96-98 ex floorharness. 99-00 floor harness will not work, it will but youd have to change all other harnesses.
realign the doors?
it is easy to align the door just place the brackets where the previous indentations (if that is a word) from the previous doors.
found an easy diagram for you to follow:

Aligning the doors isn't much of a problem. I replaced my driver side door a week or two ago and it wasn't even an issue. ...Though I can't get one bolt to catch the thread...

Thanks for the info everyone:
I'm not the best with wires and that diagram kinda looked confusing to me. Can anyone explain it just a little bit.
Thanks again.
