Ok HT, Ive got my girls 96 coupe a few weeks ago. Ive been working out the bugs since the guy who had it neglected it. My main issue as of now is the interior lights dont work for ****.

Ive done some research and Ive seen people saying it could be anything from the headunit being wired up incorrectly to the dimmer switch. The cluster in the car has no tach but the car is a manual. So I took the cluster out of my 98 sedan with a tach to see if the lights would illuminate, and no cigar.

I also noticed that on the coupe, the cluster harness has two blue, a yellow, and a WHITE plug. My sedan has two blue, a green and a yellow plug.

All the plugs on the coupe plug into the cluster out of my sedan, but it still doesnt illuminate the interior lights.

Can anyone enlighten me please?!

Have you checked any of the interior fuses?

Have you checked the dimmer switch?

This^ (start by checking 7.5A dash fuse 30)

Also, is the dimmer switch dialed off?

Do the parking and taillights work?

I checked the switch with a multimeter...fuses are fine....and everything works on the car, minus the interior lights.
