Default 99-00 civic front end on a 98-96

would it be direct bolt up or not?

I have to replace my fenders, the hood, the front bumper and the headlights, I want a spoon cf hood civictyper headlights and the spoon front lip, but I need to know if the 99-00 fenders and front bumper would bolt on directly then I can order the aftermarket parts for the 99-00.

Why?
I like the 99-00 front bumper better than 96-98.

Well forget it then.

The change over not the front lip I will just get the 96-98 fenders and bumper

the front end fits on the 96-98, direct bolt up.
i put up post like this not too long ago and they said that everything fits, u just have to get the 99+ fenders, hood and lights.

hope this helps.
i personally liek the 99 front end better also.

ditto*

It is a direct bolt on except for the grill. The top edges of the grill need to be slightly modified to fit on the front of your car. And the last holes on the grill do not line up. Other than that it fits fine. We just did this on my friends 96 hatch. Take a look....On the last picture you can see on the top of the grill, the far holes on the right and left closest to the headlight do not line up.
