car won't start, battery over 12v, turns over...
so the last couple weeks i've been having to jump my car almost every day
the battery always reads 12.4 volts and when it's running 14.5-14.6 volts. this leads me to beleive it is not the alternator or battery. the car does try to start, and if it has been within about an hour (give or take) since i had last driven it, it will start up with ease.
a few days ago i cleaned the battery terminals because they both had a little bit of corrosion, and for a few days after that it started for me every time i tried. now it's back to not starting, even though the battery has a full charge. it DOES still try to turn over until it runs out of juice.
any ideas?!?!?!?!?!

exactly...nothing seems to be wrong at all, it's very frustrating....i forgot to also mention i have an amp with no capacitor on it, i am actually wiring a new capacitor to my amp right now, if this makes a difference at all?

that was my first idea because it has been colder since i've had the issue, but it started fine last night in 30 degree weather, yet today it's over 60 and won't start

your battery can have 12 volts but not put out the amps needed. Volts is what moves the amps, amps are the actual electricity. Sounds like a bad battery to me but to make sure get your battery tested with a load tester. Free at Autozone.
