I've pulled several civics apart and this 98 cx hb looks to be tamper proof, theres the 2 10mm bolts holding the handle on, and went to remove the lock cylinder, and thers a metal piece that goes over it , keeps the door handle from poping out... even removed the clip off the lock cylinder to remove it but still no luck. Anyone know the trick to remove the lock cylinder or the metal cover ? searched and no luck on this. I know it should pop out and unscrew to remove it complete, but the handle doesn't even pop out.
