98 Hatch with GSR Swap-No tachometer reading
I need some info or advice. I completed an OBD2a gsr in my 98 civic hatch and I have no tachometer reading on my gauge cluster. The instrument cluster was working fine before. I started testing the Ignition Control Module in the distributor. I get proper battery voltage to each wire on the ICM but I can't get continuity from the yellow/blk wire to the ECM like the manual calls for. Do I need to wire in the tachometer plug located near the driver's side strut tower?
Here is the info for the engine and all if this helps:
OBD2a gsr swap
Chasebays harness with OBD1 ECU Plugs
OBD1 to OBD2A Jumper Harness
OBD2A P72 ECU
Thanks for the help.

Is the engine running fine?
The tach signal comes from the blue wire attached to the ICM. Check the blue wire for an open or short between the ICM and cluster gauge. If the wire is fine, then the ICM may be bad.

Yes the engine runs fine and drives normal. I guess I am just used to having a tach and would prefer having one. I will check the blue wire thank you.
