Did you replace the timing belt? or mess with ignition timing? Your title doesn't say. if its your belt then take the covers off and double check that the marks line up.

thats just it.....Belts are new...LS water pump and LS timing belt they work the same way...but what im asking is how to set everything the right way before I crank up....I don't have a gun...I know it can be done and all my boys know how to do it and have before but they are too busy to help me so now im stuck here....anyone have another forum that I haven't seen or anything that can help me set the timing right manual so my boy's car will run right??

Wait.. WTF? You changed the timing belt without the tool to make sure the timing is correct and then started the car up and ran it at high rpms? Am I reading this correctly?

If you have no way of getting the timing right should never change the belt.

You dont need to touch the dizzy unless for some reason u removed it. If all you did was the timing belt u dont need any special tools to set cam timing. Just make sure u have both cam gears and crank set right. If sounds like your off a tooth somewhere.
