do you mean a d16y8? or did someone swap a z6 into a newer coupe?
d16y8 is factory in a 96 up civic ex coupe. d16z6 came in delsol Si's and 92-95 civic hatches. and in ex 4dr and coupes.

Whichever motor its not too bad i know alot of people with y8 motors in their eg's

the easiest way is to cut the obd2 plug off the distributor and sauder on the obd1 plug wires so that you can swap an obd1 engine harness and it all plugs up except that you will need obd1 injectors so the harness fits, cause obd2 injector clips are different. just use a p28 and an obd1 header that has only one o2 bung and your golden

Its a D16z6 outta a 98 hatch, i think its OBD1 but was spliced to 2 for the EK, its boosted and i have basically the front clip so i have everything that i need just dont know if it will drop right in, it should, and the ecu came with hondata s200 so im hoping everthing plugs in fairly simple.

theres no reason why it wouldnt bolt in. I wouldnt go through all that work if it was boosted on stock internals. It's just a ticking time bomb

that doesn't mean ****. It was turbo'd on hondata so of course it pulled nice and ran good. I still wouldn't trust the motor unless it was documented as being built
