Default 98' CX brake problems

My brakes are literally none existant after a min of driving, and then i have to pump them to get any braking back. By none existant i mean my foot goes to the floor board with no resistance.

I was told to replace the Master Cylinder, does anyone else have any suggestions?

Do you need more information?

Was the brake fluid recently flushed? It sounds like you have a lot of air in your brake lines. You may consider bleeding the brakes.

just replaced the Right front caliper thinking that was the problem, only because it was saturated in brake fluid. So i bled the brakes after that and still have the same problem!

could be air in the lines
could be bad master cylinder
could be leaks in the system

Are you losing fluid or is it at a good level?
If its alright, I say bleed the lines too All of them...in the right order...twice.
Make sure your MC doesnt go dry doing this, or you'll suck more air into the system

To check for a leaky brake MC, check around the firewall or where the pedals meet the firewall for any moisture.
