98 civic turbo or supercharge

98 civic turbo or supercharge
i have a 98 civic ex and wanted to know if i should turbo it or charge it... do you still have to change injectors and ecu and stuff like with a turbo

supercharger u dont have to change as much stuff, my turbo has blown cv boots, and headgasket, but either way u shude get injectors. turbo u have lagg, supercharger doesnt, but with turbocharging u can push it to unimaginable boosts, if u have the internals and other parts that go hand in hand. have som extra cash either way wen **** starts blowin up.

OP: turbo it def. i just finished my turbo d16y8, and couldnt be happier, considering it cost me less than 2000.

IS this strictly a dd car, or will you be doing an Auto X or anything. Either way, i'd probably go turbo, but with a moderate size and the right mix of quality parts so you can keep most of your power within the low-end range as opposed to revving above 4000 or 5000 just to feel it start to kick in.

turbo's don't blow cv joints or headgaskets, your careless driving does.

IMO, i would go turbo. it'll out you in the power range you would want.
turbo's don't blow cv joints or headgaskets, your careless driving does.

im am planning to add turbo but what are the 'cons' about adding it? is greddy a good brand to get? im obviously a noob to honda but im wondering will turbo charging my b series engine effect anything else under the hood of my si. help me out guys with some advice. i am looking in ebay at a full bolt on greddy turbo kit that is 2400 dollars, does anyone know any websites or any locations in socal where i can get it cheaper than that?
