Default 98 Civic - overheating

I just bought a 98 honda civic ex. I have had it for about a few months and was running smoothly. I was driving it and jus got off the freeway to get gas when I noticed it was over heating and my radiator was broken from the bottom. I replaced the radiator, thermostat, fan switch, coolant sensor, and i bled it like 5 times. It would still overheat so I wired the fan straight to the battery and it worked for a while. I did a compression test and got 180 on fourth cyclinder, 160 on 3 cyclinder, 150 on 2 cyclinder, and 180 on 1 cyclinder. I need help identifying if its my headgasket or water pump before i go any further. Thanks

Do a leak down test and test for exhaust gas in the coolant.

Rev your engine up and hold the upper water hose on the radiator. If it surges. Your water pump is working

Any smoke coming from the exhaust at high rpm or milky oil?

No there isn't smoke coming out of my exhaust at high RPMs or when its warmed up in the morning. I do notice that coolant in the reservoir does at times go above the max limit and sits for a while and at times there isn't any so I put some. I'm going to do a leak down test next and also see if my water pump bad. But what do you guys suspect it could be?

Probably a bad water pump if you're not losing coolant and still over heating

Would you happen to know what compression test of 180 on fourth cylinder, 160 on third cylinder, 150 on second cylinder, and 180 on first cylinder say about my engine?

Idk what it says about your engine
But they do say those 2 low cylinders have bad valve seats or bad piston rings
