98 civic gsr swap vtec problem...
did a search could not find same problem. 98 civic ex with jdm gsr motor. obd1 motor with obd 1 ecu conversion. when v tec is sposed to kick in at around 5 k the motor boggs out it revs normal to 5k but then it takes like a minute get to 8k. no v tec. not sure if 2nd butterfly is working or not maybe that would not matter not sure. no cel or at least the light is not lighting up. please if you have any ideas let me know. before when it had the obd 2 gsr ecu it threw code 20 after about 3 weeks. let me know thanks....
