98 Civic EX steering column and air bag removal.. how?
Hey..
Im replacing my dash and my steering column, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how I get the air bag unhooked, does it come with the dash when i take the dash out? and how do i get the steering column out?
I found I think 11 bolts that bolt the big steel dash thing to the body, what needs to be taken out before its going to come out?
be specific about stuff please, like if anyone knows the # of bolts I have to find to take out the air bag that would rock, and how i can take out the steering column.
thanks!

Removing the glovebox will help you find four bolts holding the pass. bag to metal framework.
The steering column needs to be shed of all the plastic crap around it. Then you will find the bolts holding it to *again* metal framework.
When you get all the plastic crap off, it's obvious.
