98 civic ex stalling?? Help please
Hey H-T! I recently bought a bone stock civic ex. Its been a month and its been perfect no issues! Until the other day i was driving to rhode island and on my way there (about an hour drive) the car was sputtering in 5th around 3-35 rpms. It was weird because it never did it to me! Then i got to my destination and everything was fine. On my way back it was not sputtering but about 40 minutes in all of a sudden the rpm tack spazzed out and went straight to 0 but was still on! So i full strottled it and it had no power at all then it shut off. Again i was going about 65 mph at 3k rpm! So i pop started it in 5th and it shut off right away! Then i down shifted to 3rd pop started it and full throttled it and it ran fine for the rest of the night! I got home and parked it running and it shut off at least 3 times just idleing! I instantly thought i blew the motor but ive blown a couple motors in my day and its not blown. But since then it has not been driving the same! Although yesterday i drove an hour away and it was fine! But just tonight on my way home i tried to get on it and it ran like total crap! It feels like something cuts off! Im so stuck on what it could be! I was told it is something electrical but idk! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

well normally when the cyp or tdc sensor went bad in the dizzy the cel come on, but some people have no cel's. First try and check your ignitor and coil,
the perfect is to swap a dizzy from a friend to diagnosis, before you buy a new one an this was not the problem.

worst case scenario is you have a blown headgasket between the cylinders, thus it wont burn coolant or mix with oil.

he's not mention noting about hard cold starts caused by p to p head gasket failure, but a leak down and compression test will help. I'm more inclined to
electrical failure.
