P0138 code

P0138 code
98 DX, stock engine D16y7 138xxx
I just got this code out of nowhere yesterday.
Backstory, I put on a header, and an inline Magnaflow cat for a Civic EX, the o2 sensors are in the header and after the cat. I used an plug extension to hook up the 2nd sensor. Exhaust is tight no leaks. I've had this setup for over 200 miles... with no issues.
Yesterday I got the check engine light. When I got home I ran the code on my ScanGage II and it gave me P0138. No others. I have cleared it out and driven 20 or so miles, it hasn't come back on.
Also and this may be unrelated, since the code, my idle will occasionaly dip to 550. Normally is has always been 650 or so, at full operating temp. What should it be set at? Is it controlled by the ECU or can I adjust?
Thanks!

Re: P0138 code
You should have a D16Y7 if it is a 98 DX.

If you reset it and it did not come back you should be good.

Part 5, L. Air intake and idle control.
Maybe before going down that route you should wait for some others to advise also.
