It's a D16Y8 stock, the only thing I think it could be is the distributor...

Test the coil, there are instructions in the stickies, prob the tec type dizzy.

Could be a timing issue.

When is the last time you did the cap rotor wires and plugs?

Cap, rotor, wires and plugs are all brand new beside the whole disturbutor. Yeah and maybe it could be the coil... I hope thats the problem... would you guys think that could be the problem?

Thanks for the reply

Yeah, before cel was o2 sensor... I don't think it could be that cause its a new cat. Header to muffler are all brand new. But again I feel that lag before it was the same lag and not just that the o2 came on when I feel that lag. but now its worst, the car actually die with no check light on.

well it sounds like you did most of the basic upgrades so i would think fuel, or timing. So when was the last time you adjusted the valves and replace the fuel filter?

Before you buy a replacement fuel filter, borrow/rent a fuel pressure tester, as well as a timing light. Make sure you're getting 37-40PSI as measured at the top of the fuel filter, and make sure your timing is where it should be.

you guys think it could be the fuel pump? hmm I getting a second thought. It might be the fuel pump. because when I step on the gas it blog and lagg as well. To a complete stop it shut down on me, and when I pull over to the side to check my engine I tap on the cable(gas pedal cable). The engine sound really weak, and then back to normal. I don't know, thanks for the reply guys.

This^

Check the mechanical timing. It may be off by a tooth on the timing belt.

Please read my post 4 again.

Test the coil.......simple to do it, need a multi meter.

If that is not it test the ICM.

I test the coil already not it. What will happen if you use 10w30 oil? And if you were to check your oil dip stick it pass the second dot About 1 inch would that be the problem??

To much oil and to thick of oil what would cause it the cwr to react? Lag? Weak? Choking??

Any idea guys??

Honda's do not like Walbro fuel pumps BTW. Can you put a stock one back in?

Not the oil.

Test the ICM.

if all your fuel options have been crossed off, then its the timing or not enough spark, thats the only 2 things it could be. but to me it sounds like the motor is off time by a tooth or 2

It doesn't matter if parts are brand new - you still need to test them. DOA parts happen.

Fuel pressure test. Timing light.

yeah, I'm gonna put my stock fuel pump back in and if its not the oil then could it be the fuel injector? And btw, my fuel filter is a after market fuel filter. It's a little bigger then the stock fuel filter I have... But when I first put that in, I never had that kinda of problem. So Idk I might not be the fuel filter.
