98 civic ex oil dipstick tube
I have a d17a1 the oil dipstick tube broke away from the oil pan. Is this an easy fix? It's causing oil to get all over my belts and front left brake. The auto shop said it was from gasket leaks but after I put the tube back in the right position I stopped losing oil and didnt have any leaks overnight. Any info would help, i couldn't find a lot about this anywhere.

You mean dip stick tube?? Plug it up for the time being and get a new/used one.
You have a D16y8 or D17a1 in your car??

The tube itself has an o-ring at the bottom where it plugs into the block.
