somebody told me that the 0c sensor is at the wrong place, he said its supposed to be located lower down the headers, mine is near the dipstick. Isnt that the right location for a 98 ex?

The CX, DX, LX header have an O2 sensor by the dipstick, and one near the end of the header, but the EX has one at the very back of the header, and one after the cat, NOT by the dipstick.

yeah the there is going to be an o2 up by the dipstick and another down further on the exhaust manifold

ex has the primary o2 sensor located high up on the header and the secondary is located just after the cat.

sorry about that its not by the dipstick i mean like close to the block high on the headers where the dipstick on the newer engines are

No. Do any of you know where your O2 sensors are?? On the EX the primary is at the end of the header, right before the cat. NOT high up near the block OR by the dipstick.

(I'm referring to '99-00 EX's), I'd assume 98 is the same, but who knows since so many of you insist the primary sensor is up high.

i dunno which is primary but there are two, one near the end of the headers and one up top close to where the headers meet the block

im dunno about the 99-00s though

the dipstick on my 98 is to the right of the block near the cam gear i forgot and said it was infront where the headers are. sorry for any confusions

No... the 99-00 ex has a different exhaust manifold and the primary o2 sensor is in a different place... The primary o2 sensor on my 98ex is located on the exhaust manifold. you can see it poking out through the heatshield.
