98 civic ex with new b18c type-r swap - no spark
ok my previous post about the wire going to the ignition module has been fixed.
turns out when i pulled everything out it was all trash. so ive went ahead and replaced the icm, coil, and rotor. so my question is where do i go from here. im 100% stumped this is my only car and im running out of moneys.
this was not the wire that was cut there was a connector that looked like a wire should go there so i went ahead and put a wire there and connected it to the icm. "not sure if that should be hooked up"
HELPPP!!!!

it only gives two codes, code 22 vtec pressure valve and code 10 intake air tempature sensor. my voltmeter broke so lets just say the distributor isnt getting power what should i do?

Fuse 9 - but you still need a multimeter to do the kind of work you're doing. For example, fuse 9 could be fine but the distributor still does not get voltage.

ok ron i had to work yesterday so i couldnt work on the ride. but today i went and looked at fuse #9 its fine, also there is one under the hood labeled ignition2 but it is fine as well. have not purchased a multimeter yet. im curious what else could cause a distributor not to get power? and also what is the next step i should take?

If you plan to work on your car, you will need a multimeter. It's as important as any wrench or socket.
In the meantime, have an auto parts store test the ICM. When you get the multimeter, resistance test the coil and also test for voltage at the Blk/Yel wire inside the distributor.
