Default 98 civic EX map sensor problems

I installed an exhaust and throttle body spacer and a cold air intake on my 98civic EX and now it runs like a slob?? No bottom end at all. The car is automatic It's not like I have a clutch to compensate for the problem. I think the map sensor needs more vacuum because I took some readings from where it is supposed to be. Also tried moving the vacuum to a spot with more vacuum and the bottom end power came back stronger than ever but now I lost my top end ??The reason I think its the MAP sensor is that it basically tells the ECU what to do from vacuum readings and if you go and put on an intake that frees up a lot vacuum then how is the sensor supposed to do it's job correctly?? I would like the best of both worlds, top, mid and bottom end power. I have also taken into account that the car is no torque monster either, but it should run better than this. Thanks for your help!!
