98 civic ex leaking coolant
Hello honda Gods,
I am experiencing issues with my 98 civic ex 1.6 vtec. It all started with my cars temperature rising randomly(slight temperature rise. No steaming), one day.
I replaced the thermostat but there was a tight black seal that I didn't secure behind, I just kinda put it over and put everything back. That didn't do anything.
Next, I replaced the fuse for the cooling system that is under the hood because according to my pops, "only one worked". I replaced the fuse that was actually burnt and the problem stopped.
2 days later, the cars temp began rising whenever I idled but it always corrected itself with the drive.
NOW, the cars temperature rises all the way up and steams. Only one fan works (when I turn the AC) there's a leak coming from the engine right by the distributor (2 inches down and 6 inches to the right from the position of the distributor). The reservoir cap is clean, no milky color and the oil wand is clean too. Also, the reservoir is full and the radiator is empty as ****. Can any of you Gods help me with my hoofty?
There is a sputter from the intake manifold too after a distributor replacement
