Soooo if the lower hose never gets hot the thermostat isn't opening.

...or the radiator is clogged or the water pump isn't working, though there's no evidence for any of these as your engine is not overheating.

Is this or is this not happening:

If your radiator fan always runs whenever the A/C is turned on, then there is a problem with the wires.

radiator fan does not always run when the AC is switched on. I understand what you're trying to get at there now Ron.

And correct, no overheating.

At this point, there's no clear problem with your cooling system to discuss.

okay. This is what I wanted to know. I dont want to crack another radiator. I didn't mean to waste time or be bothersome. Search or google aren't conclusive when it comes to this. So thanks everyone for their time, and patience with me.

Installing an oem thermostat solved the problem.. Don't cheap out and buy one from advance because they'll sell you a 185 when you absolutely need a 195. They have an optional listing for a 195 but is a warehouse item in my area. So didn't bother to try it.

Conclusion, buy a 195 and you should be alright. Fan kicks on and lower hose gets warm.
