'98 Civic EX
Im driving a 98 Civic EX (automatic ).. As of right now, it is all stock but im looking to get some more performance from my engine. I'm thinking of adding the following parts..tell me what you guys think and if you do or do not recommend it. I'm not looking to get top speed or magnificent times, but just to give me a little more power and have somethin to show...
1) AEM Cold Air intake
2) Muffler (thinking of getting a Borla or Magnaflow)
3) AEM tru-power pulleys
that's to start for now..I was also thinking about porting and polishing...and possibly change my fuel rail...Tell me what you guys thing..im open for comments/suggestions

Screw the pulleys, buy an intake and a catback exhaust (not just a muffler). Then save your money for a manual transmission conversion.

Do the manual swap first. I'd bet money you'll gain 7whp from an intake ($200 for AEM cold air), header ($300 for DC Sports) and exhaust ($300-$500).
Not worth it at all.
I got a used greddy kit for $900 complete! Go that route!
