hey guys, when i run the ac i am hearing a loud schreel sound, not sure what is though. kinda sounds like a bearing in one of the pulleys, who knows. but i only hear it when the ac is on, no other time, any ideas ?

could it be that the belt is to tight, because i just had all of the belts replaced 2 months ago, or could it be a bearing in one the pulleys going out !!

try the alt belt ... if there is an excessive load on the engine and the belt is not quite tight enough it can squel. does the ac even work????

as stated check the alt belt tension!! if it was a pulley you would hear a growling noise if it was a pulley!!! and if left unattended then will eventually seize and the squel that you will hear will be accompanied with smoke as the crankshaft tries to move the pulley that is seized!!
