98 civic d16y8 idle at 2500rpm, when driving clutch in 3-4k rpm anybody know why??
i have 98 civic si with d16y8 engine and when you first start the car the engine idles at 2500rpm after you are driving the rpms between shifts go up between 3000 and 4000 rpm on their own. i have been told it may be the iacv or maybe a vacuum leak, also possibly a faulty pcv valve. can anybody help me with this? also i dont know where all the vacuum lines are located please if anyone can help me that would be awesome. car is completely stock and only has 110,000 km on it.
