everything but the motor work you claim gets a

good luck with your plans. but for all the money you done spent on it you could have already had an LS swap. you should have considered that first.

May I recommend an upgraded Torque Converter. It would improve streetablity of the auto plus it's more durable to handle the mods. Don't need to explain yourself, automatics are nothing to be ashamed of. I've had mine boosted for 60K+ at 5 psi.. The only reason it busted (I think) was because I got stupid and boosted 8 psi drag racing. Yes, I drag raced it. A stock Honda Automatic. Good luck with the mods, you should have a fun, reliable car when you get done.

why do you care what other people think about your car, and then why are you asking people you don't even know if they think what youv'e done and what you THINK you are going to do to your car is OK with them. Do whatever makes you happy, don't build a car for someone else's liking. Keep it real Ricky, and get the funk out of AK, that place, and the cars are a joke. Peace brother.

Do you know where I can find an upgraded torque converter?
I race it a little bit, I plan to take it to the track to see what i can do in the Quarter.
I also plan on getting it dyno'd. (soon to post pics as soon as i can.)
Thanks for the good comments, and not putting me down like I see others doing on Honda-Tech. People come here for help, not to be put down. Damn, encourage the person, don't make fun of him!

Well it looks clean... but then you cant tell because of the pic I (and prolly a lot of ppl here) dont like the spoiler, I think gtr's are too big... I just dont like spoilers

My opinion, DO NOT get the proxes FZ4's .... They suck in wet conditions (and you're in ALASKA for gods sake ) I had them on my volvo RWD and I went to take a turn and I didn't even have the pedal past like 3/4 and it lost traction and they wouldn't grip back (of course thats me) and the car almost went sideways Granted half is bad driving on my part (gimme a break today's my B-DAY dammit) but after the initial break in they just suck at wet grip... I was looking inot Potenza RE950's (something like that... Just cuz I prolly would rarely take it to the track and I live in WA where it's wet A LOT) Anyone heard good stuff about those or have any opinions on the fz4s?

From your bio:

I have a 91 civic4drsedan lx automatic. Modifications to it are:
5-speed conversion
b16a swap
ram air intake
dc sports headders 4-1
g-racing stainless steel freeflow cat 2 1/4 pipe to the g-racing muffler
polished valve cover
magnacore plug wires
indiglo guages
gsr-short shifter
adjustable coil overs, 99SI rims
Nobody said anything about your car dude, so calm the **** down, but since you had to go say something completely off topic, im going to bust you out. Your car isnt anything special. Theres 2 billion people on this board with similar setups. Come on get a grip. Dont come on here thinking youre the **** because you have boltons and a swap because youre not. We're not the ricers in your town that drool all over your setup.

--ANYWAY--

98akcivic:
It should look better without the stickers IMO... Post some recent pics! Did you ever think about painting the HX wheels? They look SICK!

This is from a post in the classifieds ( https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=226095 ):

I have a friend with some 94 GSR wheels painted a similar color with some plain old wheel paint and they look badass! Just something to think about doing for cheap...

I will post some pics and a dyno chart as soon as I get my car back from the shop.
And yes the stickers are coming off!!
I was thinking of painting the HX's gloss black or maybe a gunmetal or flat black color.
What should I do to prep the rim for painting?

lose the wing and the stickers.......i agree with what someone else said ...with all the money you spent on that you probably could have gotten a swap done...imo swaps are better because i think they get more power for less money but thats just my opinion....good luck with your car

the stickers are coming off for sure but i am keeping the wing, i am not trying to break the sound barrier, i want my car to look good and be a little quick, i guess you can say i am going for a lil show and a lil go!
i like my car the way it is, i just wanted to post some pics and see what you guys think about it.
there aren't really a big import scene here in alaska, maybe about 100 or so cars that are really into the import scene and not including the rice, damn just the other day i saw a stock escort with old(like 86 or 87) honda si rims and dual maxspeed mufflers. the scene here isn't really that big.
there is this one guy with an old 280z with a skyline motor(rb26dett) and he ran a 11.4, the track was a little damp due to it sprinkling rain an hour before the races.
but anyways, its my car, i like it the way it is, just trying to make it a little quicker without breaking the bank!
i get a lot of props on my car here, it is one of the cleanest rides in fairbanks, and one of the cleanest in alaska.

WTF, no one even mentioned your car. And sorry, it is nothing special on this board
I think he is just pissed 'cause he got flamed on his first post.

Sorry, off topic.
I Thought the D16y7 only came in Delsols(like mine).
Also, what is there to a Bullfrog head?

Thanks
<--that guy

BTW-car looks good, i always liked a nice motor/show mix, instead of the all motor you find on this board.

thanks for your support, my bullfrog package came with a ported and polished head, (new? or regrind?) cam, ported and polished intake manifold, ported and polished throttle body with a bigger bullfrog butterfly (green colored, pretty cool, but too bad no one will see it.)
i get my car back this wednesday, and gonna take it to the track maybe on this sunday, just to see what i run.
then i want to get it dyno'd to see what i am getting to the wheels.

I was'nt pissed because I know my car isn't all that, just a little different. Where I came from(kansas)wichita my is 1 of I don;t even know how many b16's. Everyone is trying h22 or select few that I know of b20/gs-r swaps, which I would do as soon as I get my hatch. But what honestly do think of my car right now? I'll let u know the 1/4 mile time when i get back from the Palmer drag strip this weekend.Holla back . Look up Modifydperformance.com for import needs at a good price.
