Default 98 civic calipar interchangability?

quick easy question: Are 98 civic hatch and sedan calipars the same? I was pretty sure they were. Went to Partsource to get a rebuilt drivers side and the hatch were $99cdn while the sedan were $55cdn???

Depends on the trim of the car.
ABS are identical to integra calipers
dx/lx are like hatch calipers
ex=si (or...si=sir)

I know that integras have different caliper brackets though. The pad retainter clips are also different because of that. Civics could be the same......Im not exactly sure.

So basically you are saying that any non-abs sedan calipar will fit my non-abs CX hatch?

yes, but the retainer clips may be different.
You should be able to get another dx/lx/cx caliper here, in the classifieds, for less than 1/2 that cost

Yeah but I dont exactly have time to wait around and fine one for sale and get it shipped here. I'm going to wait to see if anyone has a 100% solid answer before doing anything.
