ok so in the bottom left pic is that a filter where the air goes in or what? can it significantly decrease airflow? and how do i get to it

omg dude you were right!
i made a jumper wire and hooked it up oppositely and it's blowing hard!
i would have never thought that a blower motor from the same car would have the connector wired oppositely on it since it only plugs in one way...
