98 Civic Blow Motor
I live in the midwest and i found a 98 civic ex with a blown motor. I was wondering if anyone can tell me how much this car is worth with a blown motor. It had a stock ex motor with a small turbo and the guy blew it up. Its got tsw wheels and ground control coilovers. The body is in near perfect condition and has like 40000 miles on it. I was thinking 4000 would own it. What do you guys think? The guy hasnt told me how much he wants for it yet.

rough value in the black book . or just go to kbb.com and go from there. And keep in mind that just cause its lowered and has some rims it dose not help the value of the car, but actually makes it worse.

Kbb says it retails for bout 6000 (thats in good condition) but for less then a 1000 bucks he could put a stock motor in it. So im thinking hes going to tell me 5000.

Re: 98 Civic Blow Motor (RACEPAK)
I talked to the guy tonight and he told me he wanted 9000 for it, I just laughed at him. I told him id give him 4000 and he said no. Thats okay i really want to find a hatch anyways. So if anyone wants to sell a stock hatch or a hatch with a blown motor let me know.

Hell, if you live in the midwest chances are there are no smog rules or some that are no too strict so I would go for a JDM B16A motor.
