98 civic 2 dr window motor swap
my passenger side window motor in my civic is getting weaker by the day. i grabbed 2 window motors from a same year civic 4 dr. i got the rear window motors considering they will more than likely have much less wear. my question is.... will the motor from the 4 dr work in my 2 dr?

I don't think it will work, the 4 doors have a different size door, you can always pull the interior panel and see if the major mounting points are the same, but I don't think it will work. Sorry man...

i think that it will not work. from everything that i have seen the 4 door models used a diferent type of mechanism all together. IMO

just take of the motors from the rails and install them that should work but not the rails....four doors are smaller because of the groove by the handle that does not let them go down farther low..
