Ive seen people do s2000 seats,integra seats,del sol seats,and the new 08 si's. I was in the junkyard today and happened to come across a great condition set of black prelude seats i was wondering if i could swap my 97 rails and i guess the lower pan onto the prelude seats? Has anyone done this?

prelude seats in a civic would be a bit tough, nobody really wants prelude seats accept accord n other prelude guys.

philly well for $30 each ill just take them apart and see if i can use the pan and seat rails.

yeah, its not a bad deal, but i think its going to be more work than its worth.

im gonna go ahead and say yes, if its the newer preludes with the squre headlights because i saw a writeup of some guy doing s2k's in his lude and the pans swapped like the civic/ integra ones

you would only be able to use 2 bolts to screw it in from the stock railing.

Yes you can do it by swapping the pans, same procedure as s2000 seats... I have a writeup of a guy doing s2000 seats in a prelude and you can see the prelude seat taken apart... The pans are similar enough size and shape for it to work...

Not sure if this will help you out any, But i have 93 Prelude SI seats in my Del Sol.

their really nice looking seats and my civic ones have cig burn holes from the previous owner so you guys think i can swap the lower pan from the civic onto the prelude seat and the seat rails? If so im gonna go pick them up.

Yes you can it will work. If you do the swap, I would be interested in the driver's side Prelude lower seat pan, rails, and the plastic trim piece with the **** (since you don't need them anyway). PM me

This DIY is transferring the pans and rails from a 4th gen Prelude seats to S2K seats, but the process is the same for you.
