97 LX/00 D16Y8 swap - What ECU do I need?
Ok, i recently bought a 97 LX, that has a D16Y8 swapped from a '00 EX. but the ecu is from a DX? its a P2E.
will the P2P-A12(I believe thats the right ECU for the D16Y8 w/ Man. Tranny) work with the harness from 97?
or am i better off getting a chipped P28 obd1? i already have a obd2a to obd1 jumper.

problem with obd1 is that there isn't a correct map available for the Y8. (12 degrees base timing vs 16 for everything else)
you would want a 96-98 ex ecu.
