97' Honda Civic not blowing any air.

Default 97' Honda Civic not blowing any air.

Today i went to turn on my heat and my Civic would not pruduce and air at all, also my Cigarette lighter will not work or my ashtray light they simultaneously went out at the same time for no apparent reason.

Checked under dash fuses.

Anything i'm missing?

Wow third post in a day........if you scrolled down you would saw the same threads.

See if your thermostat is opening.

If that checks out, make sure your control on the heater is opening the control valve, if not you can open it by hand in the engine compartment.

Yes, i saw all those threads my problem is not related to any of them.

If you scroll down and read there threads they are haveing different issue's. My Civic will not blow ANY air.

Yes, i assumed no heat.

Check the fuses first.

You also might have a blower fan issue.

Don't forget there are fuses under the hood as well.

if fuses are good check the blower motor wire it up directly to the battery see if it turns on could be a bad switch in the climate control

blower motor is probably bad...this JUST happened to my buddy, his blower motor went out and he had to replace it

I don't think they use the same fuse. Remove your center console and check the wiring harness behind the light/lighter, see if there is any bare wires touching each other or the chassis to where it's grounding out

recheck all your fuses anyway, also the fuses under the hood as well
