97 HB with B18b1 - EVAP system fault codes P0453 and P0450
my check engine light is on for code P0453 and P0450. I've change both (new) the charcoal canister and purge solenoid. checked the gas cap. I don't know what else it could be. any help would be great.

P0453 is faulty fuel tank pressure sensor....check it and also check the wiring for it, I know it comes off the ecu. If it all checks out fine with the sensor and wiring then swap out the ecu with another known good ecu. I've had evap issues where you replace everything and still cel is on, turns out to be an internal fault on the evap control circuit within the ecu.

Also to if you find it to be the ecu and want to keep the ecu you have, you can always replace the transistor that controls the evap (xenocron sells them, but ONLY do this if you know how to properly solder and desolder).
