97 hatch B20 vtec
Hey all-
I posted a while ago about doing a B20 Frank motor... Here are a few pics of the swap now that it's finally in the car. It is no where near done and the engine bay will look as pretty as the outside of the car when it's all said and done.
some more pics can be seen at http://www.theberlinturnpike.com/dra...cs/TurboBlueII/
I have a few quick question for you all.
What do you recommend for strong axles for my car. I've heard the driveshaftshop ones break alot. I also just heard Level 10 just came out with billet ones but not sure of price. Are the Place Racing ones stronger than stockers?

I'm looking for 200wHp with the bolt ons and 75 shot on nitrous on top of that. Should rock and roll. As for the intake, I've heard good things about it versus the Skunk2 one.

did u mean you heard that the skunk2 was better for that motor or overall? my friend has a skunk2 and he loves it. Also the JG has more power higher in the powerband as the skunk2 has its peak performance in the mid range of the power band.

Valve cover is powder coated. I can have them done for you if you need it. Any color.. This one is a wrinkle or rough finish like the factory texture but in gold.
Header is wire wheeled and lightly buffed with mothers polish. I plan to wet sand and polish it furthur though.

Re: 97 hatch B20 vtec (RR98DX)
Well too bad. The headlights are there to stay. But that's ok cause my car will have more nut than most to back it up. But then again, I'd expect that a true JDM fan would recognize Top Fuel headlights when they see them. RR98DX, what does your sled look like? LOL

Nice pictures, can't wait for that to happen at my house. I like how the your wheels and valve cover match. I can't think of a good color to paint my valve cover. My friend suggested dogder blue but where can I find that? Those are top fuel lights, never seen them before. Must have cost an arm and a leg.
