Icon2 97 hatch b20 swap problems

ok so im still havin a few problems here guys so any help would be greatly appreciated. so heres where im at. i start up my car and it idles really rough, its not a bouncey idle like a vaccum leak so i dont know, also it stalls out if i dont rev it a few times. and the worst part is when i put it in gear and try to take of, it doesnt go, it starts to move then just sounds like its choking and goes like 5 miles an hour, and if i pin it it jumps quick then just does the same ****. im so confused... i switched out the 3 wire iacv an wired i the 2 wire one so thats all set, but it still runs like that. i havent had the time to wire in the tach (prob later tonight) so i dont know exactly what its idling at. but what do you guys think it could be. fuel, spark, timing, ect... i dont know.

i dont know its important but i have a skunk2 im, and a 66 mm tb. maybe not enough fuel... im also running a obd2 to obd1 jumper harness with a p75 ecu.

help me out HT.

well i just changed the plugs, no the wires or the cap and rotor. and thats another question i had. because im running the conversion harness to obd1 how do i check the cel lights? the same as b4?

and my brother timed it for me while i was on vaca, is it possible that the timing is off. does that sound like possible symptoms?

You may have swapped these connectors. Make sure the wire colors match the sensor.

41 primary oxygen sensor heater
Check whether 7.5A dash fuse 15 is blown.

Sounds like you swapped the connections like stated above. My car has ran like you describe and wasnt even drivable because of the MAP sensor code.

The TPS should have a red/blk wire in the center of the 3 wires and the MAP should have a grn/wht wire in the center of the 3. Sounds like you got them reversed, and double check your IACV pinout. Did you move A14 to A12 properly and its secured and remove A13 /orange wire at the plug completely? I recently did it with no issues.

Just incase you need to see a 100% sure diagram if you checked somewhere else

ok so i switched the tps and map sensors and started her up and first it sounded decent then i gave it some gas and it started running like **** again and blowing out some smoke. so i turned it off and started it again and it sounded like it was idling at 3grand and if i tried to give it gas it would just drop the idle and stall. WTF this sucks

Did you switch the TPS and MAP sensor connectors because they were mismatched? Did you check the wire colors?

If you now reset the ECU and run the engine, what CEL codes if any are now thrown?

Don't ignore the CEL codes. Fix them and also check the mechanical timing.

i swapped out the map sensor just to check because my buddy said thats what he was thinking it was and that did nothing. so now my only codes are the iat and o2 sensor heater. im really starting to think timing is off a tooth. does that soung logical.

o and thanks to every1 for your input so far.
