Default 97 foglights dead.

I installed some foglights (Depo style OEM square ones) on my 1997 honda civic a couple of weeks ago. Last night i turned them on and one of the wires that was hidden under the fender was stripped so it had direct contact with the fender. Well the wire fried and now the fogs won't turn on anymore.

Now i've :
-Checked the bulbs, they're fine
-Checked the fuse, all fine, even in the dash and fuse box and foglgith fuse
-Re-wired the fried wire.

So what could be the problem? The switch isn't even lighting up anymore and the whole system isn't getting power. I'm thinking about re-wiring the whole thing but would that even help. Did i just fry the whole thing?

x2. You're relay's popped.

But, to remain optomistic, you can still check:
Find your relay, put a finger on it, and tell a friend to switch on the foglights. If you don't hear, or feel any sort of click, you're relay is probably done.

Autozone carries PILOT 4-pin SPDT relays for foglights. They're like $5.

Don't know what to tell you now. Just grasping at straws but, maybe the problem is in the switch?

I don't know for sure, maybe you'll have to reinspect all the wires/rewire the entire setup in order to get it to work.
