97 F22 into 94 civic
Hi guys, what stuff do I need for this swap? My brother has a 97 Accord and he's doing an engine swap, so I get his engine. To put it into my 94 hatch, what stuff do I need? Thanks.

I'm getting the engine for free though. I heard it's the same process as swapping an h22, but I'm not sure. I save a lot by doing the F22.

hasport kit for an H or F series into your chassis...
Dont forget the shifter assy/cables, custom axles to match your civic hubs and accord/prelude trans.
and hope you have a welder, youll need to weld the shifter into the hole you cut into your civic...
Alot of work and money for what some would call minimal gains...
A B20 with some bolt-ons would be about equal IMO...

um you don't need to weld the shifter assembly at all....its not welding in from the factory, just bolt it in...
put the f22 in and boost it, everything is the same as the h swap.
and IMO the f22 is better than b20, I would much rather have the F series

Yup, the axle nut for the h22/f22 is like 36 mm or something ($20 socket from autozone, my friend just did one) the civic hub is 32mm.
