Basically I walked out to my car today and when I got close to the drivers door I thought I could hear a noise like the door lock closing many times. I dont remember which button I pushed but the sound stopped and my keyless entry stoped working. The remote still sends the signal I think because the led comes on as usual. None of the functions work like lock unlock or panic. I checked the fuse and its not burned out. I read a post here earlier that the button that looks like a separating line between the "AM/FM" and "CD/TAPE" buttons on the stereo has something to do with keyless entry. Maybe there is a way to reset it or at least maybe I can get help to diagnose the problem.

I have recently had the same problem. I noticed one morning that my dome light was blinking rapidly. After that my keyless entry no longer works. I recently had my thermostat replaced. Could this have anythimg to do with it?

I have a 96 EX and do not have keyless anymore. Here is why:

I put in a 99 GSR CD player which only has one plug on the back, where-as my 96 EX radio had 2. One plug is for the radio, the other is for the Keyless to work. My guess is, the plug somehow came loose. I'd get back there make sure everything is plugged in, or you can try and reset it by unplugging (for lack of a better word) the battery.
