Default 97 ex intake manifold questions

k, i have a stock 97 ex with a d16y8 motor and automatic tranny. I just ordered my header/downpipe and i'm thinking about purchasing an intake manifold. I was looking at skunk2 and edelbrock. Which ones do you think are good? i do plan on changing to manual and pushing a lil more than 200whp with a turbo. Also... if i installed the intake manifold now.. would i have to get it tuned or will i be ok driving it as is? thx a lot.

either skunk2 or edelbrock is fine, but with an automatic i doubt you will really feel a huge difference. i would personally put the money towards a turbo kit or something else like suspension work. IF you still feel you should buy an intake manifold, you can put it on without having to tune anything and it'll drive fine.
